The AACA Multi-Cam TV Production (NQF Level 4 & 5) is designed to equip students with the skills of organising and running multi-camera video productions, techniques for multi-camera postproduction and a thorough understanding of the multi-camera production process. Students will be able to create multi-cam clips, apply color correction, color match angles and refine their edit.
On completion of the AACA Multi-Cam TV Production Course, students will be equipped with a wide variety of artistic and technical skills in order to prepare them to work in the television industry. Students will be able to learn content development and scriptwriting, broadcast Engineering, live streaming, producing, cinematography, directing, editing, sound design, audio, media aesthetics for multi-camera productions such as TV reality shows, Soap operas, news, sitcom, TV documentaries, live music video productions, live sport coverage, live interactive installations and media criticism.
AACA’s employs a hybridised learning mechanism that entails on campus learning and distance online learning.
AACA understands the importance of practicals in TV Production, that is why the lessons are integrated with guided-practicals, projects, quarterly masterclasses, simulated work experience and productions, where the students work in crews to create TV contents.
