Position: Quality Assurance Officer

AACA, a leading film school in South Africa, is seeking a meticulous and proactive Quality Assurance Officer to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring our programs meet regulatory standards and overseeing continuous improvement to maintain the highest levels of educational quality and institutional effectiveness.
Position Details:
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and institutional goals.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of academic programs, including curriculum design, teaching methods, and student outcomes.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to accreditation requirements.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement action plans for continuous improvement.
- Facilitate the collection and analysis of data related to program performance, student satisfaction, and institutional effectiveness.
- Prepare and submit reports to regulatory bodies, accrediting agencies, and institutional leadership.
- Organize training sessions and workshops for faculty and staff on quality assurance processes and best practices.
- Stay updated on changes in regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and industry best practices.
- Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the institution.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Quality Assurance, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in quality assurance, accreditation, or a related role, preferably in higher education.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and use data effectively.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency with quality assurance tools and software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience working in a film school or similar educational setting.
- Familiarity with the film industry and its educational standards.
- Certification in quality assurance or related fields.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting.
