AACA Film School is a prestigious institution offering Bachelor of Arts degrees in Film & Cinematic Studies. We are committed to fostering creativity, innovation, and excellence in our students. Because of the nature of our training, students will be fully functional when they leave. The BA is designed to equip students with comprehensive knowledge and skills necessary for a career in film production, providing a strong foundation in both practical and theoretical aspects of film and cinematic studies.
Position Details:
- Lead and oversee the academic programs within the film school.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance academic quality and student success.
- Supervise and support faculty in curriculum development, teaching methodologies, and assessment practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of academic programs with industry standards and best practices.
- Foster a culture of research, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to students and faculty.
- Manage academic resources, including budgeting and staffing.

- Adapting curriculum and programs to keep pace with changes in the film industry.
- Addressing the diverse needs and aspirations of students and faculty.

Requirements:
- Minimum of a Master’s Degree in a relevant film-related study (other master’s degrees will be considered).
- Experience in academic leadership or administration.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education.
- Knowledge of current trends and developments in the film industry.
- Proficiency in educational technology and online learning platforms.
Preferred:
- Doctorate or terminal degree in a related field.
- Experience in curriculum development and assessment.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining industry partnerships.
- Record of scholarly research and/or creative work.
- Experience teaching at the college or university level.
